Reality faves back on the box
A host of reality television stars are returning to the small screen for a charity show.

Channel Five's Back to Reality will feature a host of contestants from other reality TV shows, including Big Brother loudmouth Jade Goody and scheming Nasty Nick Bateman.

The reality 15 will spend three weeks together in a Big Brother-style house.

Other reality returnees include Pop Idol heavyweight Rik Waller, Survivor's Charlotte 'the Harlot' Hobrough, Driving School's Maureen Rees, Jeremy Spake from Airport and Ricardo from The Salon.

Rumour also has it that BB2's bubbly Welsh blonde Helen Adams has also been approached by the producers to appear on the show.

The programme, to be screened on Five in February, will be hosted by Richard Bacon and a mystery female.

The stars will compete to win money for charity, but will reportedly be allowed access to press coverage during their stay to add extra fireworks.

The final line-up is expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
Heat says this week that Helen is thinking about the offer. They may be wrong though as she said in that interview that she wouldn't appear. Although I suppose there is a possibility that she could have changed her mind.

Ananova:

'Nasty' Nick and Jade join reality show

The first stars of Five's new reality show have been unveiled - and they have been given a glamorous makeover.

Back To Reality will throw together 12 favourites from past reality TV programmes.

Big Brother stars Jade Goody and "Nasty" Nick Bateman, Ricardo from The Salon, Pop Idol loser Rik Waller, James Hewitt from Channel 4's The Games and Sarah Kozer, a contestant on Joe Millionaire, are the first six to sign up.

The other six will be unveiled on February 14 when all 12 celebrities enter the Back To Reality mansion in west London. They will live together for three weeks and the winner will be crowned "most popular reality TV star ever", taking home £75,000 for their chosen charity.

Legendary fashion photographer David LaChapelle took these shots for a poster campaign to promote the show.

Motormouth Jade Goody goes all glam surrounded by half-naked paparazzi.

A wishful thinking Rik Waller puts his feet up in a private club adorned with his gold and platinum discs, as scantily-clad models serve up champagne and trays of doughnuts.

Nick Bateman poses on a bed with a six-foot python around his neck.

And hairdresser Ricardo looks more outrageous than ever in a sequinned catsuit and pink stiletto heels.

As with Big Brother, the contestants will be watched by the cameras 24 hours a day.

Over the three weeks they will compete against one another in a series of games and challenges. The celebrities will also face a public vote, with the least popular star being sent back to reality.

Hosted by Richard Bacon and Tess Daly, the show begins on Sunday February 15 and there will be two live shows each night.

What a selection. Sorry but no way will the 'winner' be most popular reality tv star ever, after all so far they have not got anyone who was even a runner up in their show.

Would love them to get a real 'heavyweight' into this to make it interesting.

Episode One.
The ultimate reality show. For three weeks a luxury mansion is home to 12 reality television veterans competing for the chance to become King or Queen of reality TV and win a cash prize for their chosen charity. With their moves scrutinised by cameras in the house they'll be subjected to a public vote from week two sending one guest a day 'back to reality'. Guests include Jade Goody, Nick Bateman, Rik Waller, James Hewitt and Ricardo.

There's going to be interactive coverage of this on Sky.

Also free live Internet streaming like the first two series of Big Brother and Fame Academy 1.

Can't help thinking though that this show is going to be a bit of a flop though, so soon after I'm a Celeb.

Public might be a bit 'jaded' of reality shows.
