Well that was nail biting stuff wasn't it phew? I am quite happy with the choices made although as fair as it was I would have prefered to have seen PJ remain on the Poor side...horrible creep that he is. I feel sorry for Jonny and especially Kate but at least they have each other. As far as Tim and Sophie...well YAY at last, now we should be in for some fun, Tim is going to hate it isn't he? I think Sophie will be ok, she looked relieved to have been picked, not only because there would now not be such bad feeling towards her but because I think she is sort of looking forward to having more to do.

Dreadful task but what gripping viewing it made.
I actually felt sorry for Alex, but he was as fair as he could be so he has nothing to worry about.

I realise pj was really horrible to jade but he still deserves to be on the rich side yes he may be a pig or whatever but how would everyone here feel being on the poor side for three weeks have a heart people i don't like pj that much but still to make it fair he should be on the rich side sorry everyone but thats the way i feel i'd hate to be on the poor side for three weeks don't know about you and i still hope pj's up for nomination but whatever way rich?poor it's up to the housemates at the end of the day maybe this is his treat before being nominated sorry

I think Alex's first choice of PJ was fair.

I think his second choice should have been Kate. I feel really sorry for Kate, especially as she is a bit down anyway after losing Spencer.

I thought the choices were fair enough, wasnt sure about the task at first but it turned out to be a laugh. We all know it's the last one with the rich and poor side's so at least Sofie and Tim get to experience it, great. Interesting to see how they cope this week.

Yes I do take your point and as I said Alex picked very fairly but I still don't like PJ and that's why I said what I did about wishing he had stayed on the Poor side...I don't like seeing people suffer and it would have been horrible to see anyone suffering as he clearly would have done...but PJ...hmmmm...not sure if I would have cared that much.

Well I think Alex blew it tonight

He was right to pick PJ (even though I want him out and have enjoyed seeing his misery this week!) but he should also have picked Kate.

He made a big point of talking to Kate last week explaining that not picking her was nothing personal and it wasn't as if he didn't like her, just to prove himself a liar by picking Jade over Kate this week. Jade deserves a week on the poor side, she could have done with a week without alcohol!

Maybe Alex like's a sparring partner in a row. It's funny because loads of times I think he'll never pick her after the arguments they've had, but he always does, there must be something he likes about her.

I agree but also Alex loves the fun Jade brings to the proceedings plus the fact I am sure, that he wanted Adele to have her 'friend' with her which would please her...something he would care about now seeing as she has him well and truly hooked. Alex would not have liked having Kate with him for the week, because when she spurned him for Spencer..or so he thinks...remember he thought she fancied him in the first few weeks and has treated Kate badly ever since because she changed her mind?...he would have felt very uncomfortable and not able to be as relaxed and as silly with her there, even though they have now been speaking to each other a bit.

I think the 'task' (could it seriously be called a task) was totally humiliating for all of them.

It was patently clear that Alex really struggled with the dilemma he was faced with. He was so upset at having, yet again, to choose people. Having said that I thought he bottled it. He obviously chose PJ so he didn't have another argument (come on guys, he didn't pick him cos he likes his scintillating conversation or even his company) and then chose Jade over Kate.

I really thought he would pick Kate, not least to show her that not picking her last week was nothing personal. It now looks damn personal.

I feel desperately sorry for Kate.

I think the choices on both sides were just right. Alex made a point of picking PJ to make amends for last week. Jonny then proceeded to pick those who had been on the rich side the most and Alex reciprocated.

At the end when Alex had to choose between Jade and Kate it was quite easy for him to choose Jade. Both girls had been on the rich side for a week and he doesn't like Kate - simple as that.

To be honest, I think Kate was relieved she was on the poor side with Jonny rather than facing a week with Alex.

Absolutely - they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now. It gets worse every week. Not only was this task pathetic, it was completely demeaning to the housemates - grown men and women forced to play musical chairs to decide their fate for the next week. The BB producers should be ashamed.

Whatever my personal feelings are on PJ, I also think Alex 'did the decent thing' in picking him to go on the rich side - I just hope PJ appreciates what he did.

I didn't see it last night, but I think that if I was in the house, I'd be fair, and I reckon he should have let Kate come over HOWEVER I think she'll probably be happy she doesn't have to live with Alex for a week. I would be.

I feel sorry for him that he had to make the choice again, it would probably be awful, but thats the game, and to pretend he didn't know what was going on is a bit stupid.

SO glad that Jonny chose Tim, he deserves time on the poor side like everyone else. I actually don't mind Tim (though i know most of you dislike him).

However, now heand Kate are on the same side, expect channel four to make a lot of their flirting (if there is any) - now Spencer's gone, they need to show new 'blossoming' relationships.
