While I agree he would have been a far better and more effective leader,I think Labour were right not to choose him,however for me they made the wrong choice anyway.
Had I been a member of the Labour Party,which I am not, I would have preferred Andy Burnham as leader. Having said that,I think David Miliband will be and indeed already is a big loss to UK politics,having kept right out of the limelight since not winning the leadership of the party. It's not good news to hear but in politics, MPs come and go and he is in a long list of those now. Good luck to him in whatever job he is heading to now. |
