I spent most of today on colour cue (paint mixing) , it's all right the first few times you mix paint but a cue of 12 people anyway I don't think it would scan it even if you took it in, we have a machine at work and although very accurate it can be like most computers a pain in the bottom, it like's most items! I think you may have to resort to checking colour cards! However, you could ring Dulux it sounds silly but they are very good and trust me have heard of more bizarre items to put a colour to they may be able to tell you if it is possible to match the colour!
