Hollyoaks spoiler: Jen Metcalfe teases new plot
Hollyoaks is going to have another wedding as Mercedes McQueen and doctor Browning tie the knot.
Fans will know that Mercedes is no stranger to a wedding - she’s been married twice before and would have married Riley Costello if she hasn’t of confessed her all about her affair with his dad.
So we can’t help thinking that the union of two of Chester’s most devious characters could end in tears.
When we asked Jen Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes, about the upcoming wedding, she laughed: "Yes!
"How do you know about that?!
"Clearly they think I’m good at them so here I go again!"
Jen recently thrilled fans when it was announced she’s agreed a new deal that’ll keep her in Chester for another year.
Talking about her new deal, she said: "I’m staying until next year which is exciting, it was an easy decision for me to make, I love it at Hollyoaks.
"The writers write so well for me, each day is still a challenge and I can see myself there this time next year.
