Hi Paul.

Good for Bubble - he's certainly a glutton for punishment, but it IS for a very good cause.

I take it Josh isn't tempted to run it again!?!?! (don't blame him!!)

Well done Bubble.

However, one's humble OH and number one son are also running the London again this year.

So, if anyone wants to sponsor them for Leukaemia Research, please let me know!

Well, I will defo be cheering them on anyway!

I am never going to run the marathon though. I am not that mad.

I have lost 39 pounds since January though, and I have brought my resting pulse down from 88 to 64 thanks to 7 hours in the gym, and 1 hour in the swimming pool a week.

I have also lost a total of 5" from my bust, 8" from my waist, and 5" from my hips!!

So, I personally feel I am approaching the 10 mile marker already.

Ladbrokes are offering odds on the first celebrity to finish the race. Bubble is listed.

Quote:
'Sick Boy' aims for marathon win

Trainspotting star Jonny Lee Miller is leading the race to be the first celebrity to finish this year's marathon.

Miller, who played Sick Boy in the Brit flick, is at 2-1 ahead of Richard Dunwoody, the most successful jockey in English national hunt racing and Tony Audenshaw, who plays Bob Hope in Emmerdale, who are both at 3-1.

Actor Daniel Macpherson, of The Bill, is at 4-1.

Ladbrokes have made Miller the favourite among their list of celebrities because he ran the 26.2 mile event in just over three hours in 2000.

Audenshaw ran last year's marathon in 3hrs 8mins and 20secs while Macpherson, a keen tri-athlete, has a personal best of 3hrs 28mins and 46secs.

"Jonny is at the peak of his fitness," Ladbrokes spokesman Warren Lush said.

"Jonny has been keeping himself in shape recently and is certainly not a sick boy."

Michel Roux is battling it out with Gordon Ramsay for the fastest chef title.

Roux ran 3hrs 20mins and 54secs last year. Bookies have placed odds on Roux at 14-1 and Ramsay at 66-1.

Former Olympic breaststroke champion Adrian Moorhouse is at 25-1 along with Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Jason Flemyng.
