A bit of an over reaction I think, if the man cares that much about the welfare of his children then perhaps he should have ensured there were sufficient funds in their accounts.

I also think the school should not have made the boy go hungry just to make this point. Both sides should apologise and move on, no need to throw the baby out with the bath water and remove both children from this school over such a minor dispute.

It seems to be all about the man in question not his children a case of wounded pride or embarrassment . So going to the press surely does not help his cause..!!!
