''Big Brother star Jade Goody has announced that she had split with her boyfriend.

The 23-year-old admitted in a statement that there had been a "huge row ... that got out of control".

But she said boyfriend Jeff Brazier had "never raised his hand" to her, following reports of a furious bust-up at the weekend.

Goody is pregnant with the couple's second child and the relationship has been full of problems from the start.

Despite the split, the pair are still living together in Harlow, Essex, and are planning the christening of their 10-month-old son Bobby Jack.

The split follows reports that ex-footballer Brazier was arrested for allegedly assaulting Goody after police were called to the couple's home on Saturday, and that he was released on police bail without charge,

Reports said the loud-mouthed TV star had accused Brazier of seeing another woman after he arrived home from a night drinking with friends.

Today Goody, whose second child is due in October, said: "Following reports in the tabloids last Sunday, I would like to stress that Jeff has never raised his hand to me and to suggest that he would is just ludicrous.

"We had a huge row early Saturday morning that got out of control. We've had to try very hard to make our relationship work, but I feel it would be better for all of us if we separated. The split is amicable and we are in the process of planning Bobby's christening and first birthday."

It's a shame that they've split, I actually thought they were good together! They seemed very close when Jade was in BTR.
I wonder if they'll get back together?, like BusyBee said her hormones play havoc with her while she's preggers so perhaps once this little baby's born they have a change of heart!?

I think they will be back together. They look so alike it's uncanny. However they are very young and under the spotlight. Having (I assume) chosen to increase their family so swiftly they have put themselves under a lot of pressure.

Meanwhile they are raking it in and keeping their profiles VERY high. There isn't a mag without a Jade and Jeff headline. Who would have thought that for appearing in a couple of reality shows and a very minor series you could keep on the A list?

They seem to have the perfect formula going for them.

ROB - how cynical for such a nice person, but to be honest I quite agree with everything you say.

To be honest I am completely fed up of seeing in magazines, Jade is pregnant, Jade's bump, Jade and Jeff argue, etc now it will be Jade and Jeff split.

That girl is so publicity conscious its unbelievable. Can always remember on BTR she went on about how much she was in the papers. Perhaps they would have done better if they had followed the example of another young couple.

Still as Elizabeth would say "they look alike so they must be together". As I've said on another thread I think its a case of cant live together, cant live apart.

Lets hope for Bobby and the new baby they get back together.

I am also totally fed up hearing or reading about Jade. I too reckon a reunion will be on the cards relatively soon. It is definitely one sure-fire way to raise even more money selling their story and their sole to the tabloids for cash.

Split, reunion, split, reunion, etc., plus if you throw in the new baby pictures and probably Bobby's first birthday, before you know it, Jade will be well on her way to her second million.

I'm not jealous (honest!), just very cynical.
