If she doesn't want to play the game, she knows where the door is.
When she had power she insulted Hazel and tried to humiliate her. Now the power has switched them. Gina is reaping what she sowed, or rather refusing to reap it.
These are the consequences to her earlier actions. Maybe if she wants kindness from others, she could start by treating them so.
