This thread is mental, what a lot of old rubbish! Surely the people who say being camp is a requirement for being gay are just wind-up merchants. Sexuality seems to be very fluid and certainly hard to pin down using character traits. After all, prisons are full of very 'masculine', 'butch' men having sex with each other, while their wives and girlfriends are at home.

I never got to see Dexter enter the house, so when i first watched him i assumed he was gay and was disappointed, at the time, that they had sent in another stereotypical gay man. Then the penny dropped that he actually wasnt gay but a supposed big time Sugar daddy.

Speaking as a Gay man myself, I think Dexter is more likely to be Gay than not. He's showing all the signs of a Gay man in a straight environment trying hard to hide his true sexuality by over doing the "I fancy her" bit.

By the way, many Gay men have had straight sex encounters, including myself having a son, but are just too attracted to men to ever be happy having sex with women full time. There are a lot of "straight" men having sex with other men on the side - fact!!
