Unhappy Are you finidng this a chore?

Maybe it's because I'm an overseas watcher so I don't have a set to watch the show nightly but if anyone else finding watching the show a chore? I feel like as a Big Brother fan I'm obligated to watch the show but I'm now finding it tiring to do so. Not that it isn't entertaining, because it is (go Gina!) but some of it I find tedious such as the none-triangle. I feel like the plot is repetitive (twin-task, a stupid argument etc). Another reason for my feeling is probably because normally by this stage of the show, I stop watching regularly because my favorite housemates would have been evicted already. However this season she still remains in the house and the other housemates aren't boring either.

Perhaps it's the daily aspect of it. I look forward to BBUSA episode, different format I know, but they aren't on daily which helps build anticipation. Even though I know what will happen on 2/3 shows (the only true surprise is sometimes the eviction result but definitely whoever is crowned the new Head of Household), I watch because I look forward to seeing how the events pan out on TV. Not sure if I've explained myself super clearly haha.

Tl;dr So anyone else feel like it's a chore to watch Big Brother or do you genuinely look forward to it and find it really entertaining?

Weird, yes i've been feeling the same thing. I don't think the show is boring at all though. Its like when I watch it I always end up really enjoying it, but the idea of sitting around my computer for 45 minutes to watch it is not fun. I think I just lack motivation sometimes to go and watch it, but when I actually do it I always enjoy it. Kind of like going to the gym. If I actually lived in the UK I think i'd enjoy it much more. Just cause after my day I could actually sit on my couch and relax more with it. But alas..

I know exactly what you're saying and i do end up missing the odd episode just because it is getting tedious! BB UK is just a poor imitation of the show it once was sadly!!!
You can pretty much watch everything that's worth watching just by checking out the daily clips uploaded on the official C5 BB site and the full Friday night eviction episodes. Sometimes there's more interesting footage in those video clips that doesn't even make the highlights shows!
I don't think daily episodes are a problem in years that are interesting enough with enough great housemates to fill the episodes. I really looked forward to every single day's episodes in BB10 (because of Marcus 'The Dark Horse', Freddie/Halfwit, Siavash and nutjobs like Angel and Sree!!!) and BB9 (because of Rex, Mohamed, Darnell and the beautiful Sara Folino) in particular and there were a few other years that BB was really addictive and compulsive viewing when it was on Channel 4.
While it's had it's moments i've never found it anywhere near as good since C5 took over the show. It's just not even in the same league to be perfectly honest. The quality of housemates just hasn't compared and neither has the general production of the show (particularly as far as letting the housemates get away with murder and influencing the direction of events/ outside influence etc.).

Now that the far superior BBAUS has started, yes, this is DEFINTELY taking second place in my household. Couple that with the fact we can no longer see Dan's luscious pecs, the boring try hard triangle of Dex/Charlie and Callum and the purely SCINTILLATING telly that is Sam and Sophie and ummmm, yeah..............NEXT!!!!

I still watch daily (and will as long as Gina and/or Dexter are in the house), but I'm more enthused about BB AU. That may be because it's so fresh and new and filled with people who haven't yet had time to repel me. I'm in the U.S. and do not watch US BB.

No, I look forward to it every night and I still really enjoy it, think I will as long as gina & dexter are still in. Should they leave I would most definately find it boring and switch off. Good Morning from me in the UK

Show is bein saved atm by Dexter and Callum. Outside of that it is pretty dull. Find myself losing attention when something else is being shown sometimes.

Agree.

That's why it annoys me when people say it's better than BB13, when it had such strength in depth of characters.

this always happens though. The ending part of the series is never as good as the start. That is why I like CBB. Normal BB becomes boring after a while

I am still watching it all loving it as much as ever.
The live feed was killing me, sitting here until after 2 every morning, then the penny dropped and I realised I can watch it in bed....fell asleep the last half hour or so.
Still plenty going on in the house to keep me interested.
