Default Maloney previews new single 'My Heart Belongs To You'

X Factor 2012 finalist Chris Maloney has previewed his new single.

The singer will release 'My Heart Belongs To You' on October 6 as his debut single, following his time on the ITV show.

The preview also features footage of the accompanying music video, which sees the singer performing the track in front of a grey backdrop.

'My Heart Belongs To You' is available to pre-order now and will be released through independent label Tristar Records.

"I wanted full control over what I was doing and full creativity and I wanted a label that will look after me," Maloney said of his record deal earlier this year.

"I didn't want to go somewhere with big artists where I would be put on the sideline."

He added: "If I signed with another record company, it would have been a lot longer process and my fans are waiting for my album now."
