I got a call from the police earlier saying that they can't do anything more about my assault case because the CCTV footage is so grainy that all you can see are shadows, you can't see the actual assault.. I'm so gutted

I hate to devalue some of the work the police do but in cases like this they tend to be twats and not bother tbh. I think it's ridiculous and I feel so sorry for you- especially as the injuries you described were terrible and it has happened before. Hope you are ok Greg

I went with 4 of my friends for afternoon tea to a huge stately home place in Edinburgh.. And it was so delicious I didn't want it to end.. Then we shared a bottle of champers, came home, picked our kids up from a party, went to the pub for dinner then came home. It was lovely to have a Saturday afternoon off and a good chat and a laugh

Thanks Jack the police woman was really kind on the phone and I asked if she had any advice about seeking counselling so she said to go to my GP and explain what happened to them and get them to refer me to someone, so I'm gonna phone and make an appointment on Monday morning for later this week hopefully...

Yeah Marc, at the time I was so dazed and confused but I know exactly what he looks like, can picture his face so clearly, and Aberdeen's a small place... if he lives here, I'll definitely see him again one day...

Just drive about a lot and when you see him, drive him down. Put the handbrake on whilst your wheel is over his body and put the excelarator down

Same old story Greg.. Doesn't surprise me at all! In assault cases there always seems to be a problem with the CCTV. It's sickening that people get away with unprovoked violence like that!

Omg you've reminded me when I was younger this older kid like pushed me over and rid of on his bike so my dad got in his van and chased him haha

those cameras are almost always ****. We have some at our work, but there is no sound and you can't make out anything. They're more there just to try and stop people who don't realize how crap the cameras are
