Default The dumbest Nintendo product you'll see today

Look at this monstrosity:

May simply buy as a collector's item for when it inevitably bombs.

it looks as if it's an old console not a new one, massive step back

good for people who can't be arsed with all the 3D nonsense
pretty sure you can turn the 3D on or off on the 3DS though?

Welp, it's the equivalent to the game boy micro. It's going to flop.

Eh, it'll do fine.

It's not aimed at 90% of the people overreacting to it, it's just a cheaper model for those who could careless about 3D (and looking at the state of 3D, that's the majority) and game casually.

Tbh it looks a mess but I see what they are trying to do.. although you might as well buy a 3DS and turn the 3D off

I can see why they're releasing this, it's a budget model for kids under 7 Years old. It's rather ugly though and the name isn't very well thought out as it would create confusion within the brand.

It could do with a cover to protect the screen if it's for under 12's.

Nintendo really need to start realising this, I mean there's

Nintendo DS
Nintendo 3DS
now Nintendo 2DS

Then there's the
Wii
Wii Mini
Wii U

DS & 3DS are two different systems, yet there's no real indication of it. Wii and Wii U are two different systems, and again, there's no real indication that they're two completely seperate things, then again, they've been doing it since the game boy days.
