Anyway, getting back on topic, it seems that individuals like Lauren take some people way out of their comfort zone!

That is not necessarily a bad thing at all. We all need, to one degree or another, to learn to be more accepting of 'difference', provided that difference does not harm others.

True, some people do work on their own. And, to be fair: strictly speaking, Newton was working alone when he came up with his main theory; but only for two years, whilst the university was closed due to plague.
