The civilian BB this year was emotionally draining and people are just ploughing through CBB waiting for it to be over. I know that's how I feel, anyway. I felt the same last summer.

If you get really into BB (which ashamedly, I do!) It really kicks the rap out of you for 10 weeks. Its great but exhausting. And then theyre like "AND NOW get excited for 3 more weeks of different people!!" ... Its just not happening. I watch it because... Well... I always do, but I can't get as involved, its more just as a casual observer than actually getting stuck into it. It's a chore in the evening sometimes, rather than itching to watch it.

Really wish they would scrap Summer CBB... Main in summer and celeb in winter is the perfect amount...

I don't know - I actually think the moderation was a but lacking and people were saying some really vicious and distasteful things during the civi series. I personally believe in free speech and the right to state your opinion whatever it is - but that can be done without spewing bile and hatred all over every thread. It was like a mindless bloodthirsty mob half the time, just being hateful for the sake of it, and that's really offputting for anyone who actually wants a reasonable discussion on a forum. It really put me off the forum - not enough to leave, but that's probably only because I'm not currently active on any other forums and I've been a "forum user" for over 15 years.

Wouldn't know what to do in my lunch break if I didn't have a forum to browse

I just cba.
Im still supporting abz and Courtney but bb14 was just too intense and passionate.
TIBB world war 3 of callum fans and dexter fans made it that much interesting.
But with cbb i just dont find it interesting.
Only watched 10 mins of cbb last night, says alot.
When cbb is on, im usually posting on another part of the forum anyway lmao.

There are a few reasons which have already being suggested. For me personally, I am suffering BB fatigue and the series has gone on far too long. I really did enjoy the civie BB but then to air CBB straight after (bar a few days) was (is) a bit too much. I always look forward to CBB just after the New Year and it helps with the winter blues but the TV bosses have over done it by giving us too much of it. It is a case of 'same old, same old.'

Really, really bad editing by the BB team is partly killing the show. To show Abz looking at a spider instead of Lauren's funny Un-rhyming was a show killer. I haven't watched Channel 5 for 3 years because the adverts pop up in mid sentence during films. So this was Channel 5's chance to get me back, and all I have seen is a business, and not entertainment. I may leave Channel 5 for a few more years after CBB 12.

I agree. I also think that BB was very divisive and nasty. BB did this themselves to a great degree with the tasks. Did this echo around the forums?

I really agree with your comments. As a new user I try to be polite but was called vile the other day simply because I supported Carol
