It may have been an offsite matter BUT it was then brought onto the forum making it an onsite issue, and effecting quite a few people in a really hurtful and disgusting manner. Why people feel the need to be like that is beyond me and I'm glad it isn't tolerated.

Its not the first time someone has been banned for offsite stuff..nor will it be the last. However more than just the burn thingy itself was taken into account when deciding on this.

Personally, I don't know why no bans were given out for the Mollie thing. If it was up to me I would definitely have permabanned the person who contacted family members, as that is beyond creepy. Its actually one of the worst things I have ever seen done on this site.

..I know what Scott did and how wrong it was, I don’t make any excuses for him or anyone else who was involved because it wasn’t just one person...I know he was also banned because he ignored a warning not to mention it again, which he did...but he is the only one who is getting an ‘indefinate ban’ and yet there are many ‘wrongs’ buy many people and to me a lot of bad feelings are caused because of loved people on TiBB getting such severe bans...I know that some members are more ‘controversial’ that others but they do also add to the forum in other ways..?..most of them do...and it just feels that this will do nothing to bring people together but only add to whatever bad feelings there are already...banning isn’t the only way, surely..?...

..and yes, I agree Vicky, what Mollie/Mike did was not nearly as bad as how she was ‘exposed’ and there should have been bans, I think a lot of members feel that, myself included...but there weren’t any..for whatever reasons, there were none but this ‘severe’ ban won’t change any of that or ‘right a wrong’ , I think it’ll only escalate whatever ‘hate’ went into that burn thing in the first place.......


..anyway, that's all really I have to say..TiBB needs 'mending' not breaking up further....

Well, I think that is one of the few errors (The Mollie situation) that the mod team have made (I include myself in that as I was a mod at that time and had just as much responsibility as everyone else in the team) one that has been regretted the most. But for things to improve on here action needs to be taken and as for the other culprits, I believe they should be punished too, but they are gutless and posted hidden behind anonymous. They will cry out about Scott's ban, but will let him take the fall alone...
