I was on benefit for a long time. Frankly, and this is going to inflame some of you, I don't have much of a problem with the scammers. If I'd known how to scam I would have done it too. The amount of money people on benefit generally get is still ridiculously low.

For someone who can't work the amount is terrible, and not enough to survive on.
