At the time I found Dirks reaction over the top, but having watched it back. I'm on his side. He asked her to stop a couple of time. I happen to love strong women - which is why I was so disappointed with Jacqueline Gold in the verdict, I digress. I like demure and submissive too. I think Cleo's characters were not current enough but I do agree that style of comedy is difficult to do.

I was thinking of something similar earlier as far as Dirk was concerned, as it goes. His outlook seems to soften markedly when there's a pert-chested girl young enough to be his daughter (granddaughter?) in the immediate vacinity.

Damn, I watched the first and then managed to miss the rest. Archer didn't do himself any favours, did he? He was slithering all over Jennifer Ellison like a giant slug. Agreed. Katherine Tate's show is hugely hit-and-miss too, but she certainly seems popular enough, regardless. I think there's a capable actress in Cleo somewhere, even if it's more suited to roles in dross like ITV's attempt at bringing Cluedo into the nation's living rooms.
