I'm hoping to re-read the book before Friday also. I watched a tv spot and see things I remember reading about.

Mainly
Spoiler:

When the game makers spin the arena when they figure out its a clock. And Katniss stuck in the mockingjay/jabberjay (I can't remember) pretending to be Prim.

In case someone hasn't read the book and doesn't want to be spoiled

I'm considerate like that.

People who haven't read the book deserve to be spoiled.

I see it tonight omfg

It really was perfect in every way. I felt it stayed more closely to the book than the first ones. I'm still buzzing about it tbh. 10/10 easily

was pretty good... the audience who I saw it with were annoying though. Mostly kids who'd just gotten out of school (saw it at 5:30 on Friday). They laughed at a scene where they were healing themselves in water after the poison-gas gets released (I don't think that's a major spoiler but even if it is, get over it )

The film's decent... could've maybe done with a little less concentration on the first half of the story than

Spoiler:

the quarter quell / actual games... they were pretty much over in half an hour

really liked the castings of Beetee, Wiress, Johanna and Plutarch although the scene where Enobaria introduces herself with her "grrr!" was a bit **** and cheesy LOL

Basically, if you liked the first you'll like the second. It's just as tense, just as funny in the right places, and the performances are all pretty great. Story too. Nothing major missing from the book that I can recall.

OMG Mags Nearly cried when she went into the fog...

I watched it Friday at Odeon, and watched it yesterday at Odeon... And I'm going again on Saturday! The movie is generally amazing.

Also saw it today, kinda preferred the first one but still think it was good film. I guess the exceptions for the film were high after enjoying the book so was kinda disappointed by it and not wowed.

I actually shed a tear a few times during the film

Spoiler:

first time was at the start when katniss went to district 11 and saw the family of the little black girl that she made friends with in the first film.

second time was when she went to the training camp thing and they drew a pic of her on the floor.

then again when the old lady sacrificed herself then I think the final time was when katniss had just destroyed the sky thing and was being taken up into the flying craft thing

it was a very emotional film tbh

I saw it in Wrexham today. It was okay. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
