Katie Price is set to sign up for Celebrity Big Brother – even though she’s just given birth to a baby.

Model Katie, 35, is close to signing a six-figure deal for the series which starts in January, which would make her one of top-earning housemates in the reality show’s 12-year history.

Her son Jett, born eight weeks early in August, will be five months old when his mum *disappears into the BB house.

And if she reaches the final that could mean more than three weeks apart from her children and third husband Kieran Hayler.

A TV source said: “It might surprise people that a star as big as Katie would consider Celeb BB.

"But it seems she’s keen and it would be a great coup for Channel 5. It looks like it could happen this time.

“Katie’s a colourful *character, opinionated and still one of the most recognisable faces in the land. She’d be a *massive hit.”

Her profile soared after she appeared in I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in 2004 beside pop star Peter Andre, who she went on to marry.

She had a *second jungle stint in 2009.

A two-year deal to star in fly-on-the-wall shows on Sky’s Living channel ended last year.

In August Katie’s Wag pal Danielle O’Hara predicted she would go on Celeb BB.

The wife of ex-Tottenham *player Jamie O’Hara, said: “I think she possibly would but I don’t know how long she’d last.

“I don’t think she’d be evicted, but it’s stressful in there. I don’t think she needs to be in there.”

Scotching rumours that she would star in the previous series, Katie tweeted: “I’m not doing big brother despite the rumours.

“But I wouldn’t say no haha haha – I have nothing to hide.”
