I thought she totally missed the point of the song tbh. She turned a 'storyteling' into a belting tune. It didnt work for me.

There are some songs that should only ever be sung by the original artist. Candle in the Wind is one of them. She shouldn't have tackled it, IMO.

Adele - Someone Like You is another one, yet someone always hacks away at that one.

And if versatility is so important then Sam B and Nicholas certainly can't win and here's why.

Sam Bailey:
1. She can't do lower ranges.
2. She mainly does cheesy Karaoke type of Pop songs.
3. Everytime she does a modern song she completely flounders and sounds terrible on them.

Nicholas McDonald:
1. He can't hit the higher ranges.
2. Ever since his gone for more modern songs his sounded like a strangled Cat apart from the Adele one.
