also she's extremely desperate for any sort of fame and attention so if she isn't that well-known in the UK I could see her being all over this ****. That's why she went on the Celebrity Mole here in the US back in like 2002 or something. Over here she's a massively well known, she had her own reality show for years and I believe holds the record for the most televised stand-up specials ever?

ETA: OMG and last year she outraged my HORRIBLE ****-kicker hometown by raping Anderson Cooper live on New Years TV during our sacred sardine drop which is like the stupidest thing that has ever existed so she's like the pariah of my hometown

idk why people are saying she'd be a poor casting, she's infinitely more famous than the calibre of the usual CBB HMs (of last time's cast, she'd easily be the most famous).

at people saying this is scraping the barrel. She may not be that famous in the UK, but she's MASSIVE over here and everyone knows who she is. She's very controversial and is the darling of the gay community and the hate-figure of the conservatives - especially Sarah Palin and the Westboro Baptist Church who she takes down in her typical glorious style. idgi **** all of you who don't realize the magnitude of this. And unlike most other big-name celebs I think she could actually do it because she will do anything for an ounce of fame.

And the facts speak for themselves that she's a big deal:
