The crowd at BB eviction has always booed but back in BB1 & 2 in very small amounts. BB3 saw a booing on a whole new scale with 5 of the 12 evictees getting booed by the majority of the crowd (I think we all remember Adele's mass booing on her eviction). In Big Brother 4 the crowd was mostly supportive of the evicted housemate with only 3 of the evictees getting a lot of boos (Sissy, Fed & Lisa), but there was still small amounts of booing at every single eviction. Now, in 2004 it all got out of control. 6 of the 11 housemates getting booed (Remember Kitten had no crowd & Emma was removed). I didn’t like Jason but the man came second, I mean was there really any need for the booing??
In 2005 it got boring and pathetic. 10 of the 15 evictees getting booed - Obviously not all to the same extent, I mean Mary got some pretty bad boos but compared to Makosi's it was nothing. Last year people got booed for doing nothing wrong. Susie sat there drank tea without a care in the world yet got one pf the biggest booing of the whole series. Okay, she wasn’t the most entertaining housemate ever but She didn’t do anything wrong.

I can see wear Booing comes in handy though. I mean Sezer got 91.6% of the vote and got booed to high heavens but if he had walked out and got cheered he would probably be as cocky and arrogant as ever and thought he was loved.

Again last year the crowd went a little ott with the now famous ''Get Grace Out!'' chants, sorry but I thought the housemates weren’t allowed any contact with the outside world. Hmmm...

The crowd does make good television though at times. 2 years ago when all 12 housemates faced the vote in BB6 we got a amazing piece of footage when Davina called out each of the 12 housemates names and the crowd reacted, cheering for some, booing for some and staying silent for others. This may be seen as contact with the outside world but it was brilliant! It was the demise of possible the 2 most popular housemates (Maxwell & Saskia). Both got huge cheers but 4 weeks later bother were out.

This year, do you think the crowd should be tamed down a bit (If its possible..) or do you think they should go wild, booing and cheering whoever they please. Or should we just get rid of the crowd full stop.

No. I was a huge fan of Grace, but the booing didn't particularly bother me. Its only for a couple of minutes.

Susie deserved the boos, because she was a terrible housemate.

Finalists shouldnt get booed though!

EDIT: Chants are too far. They should be banned.

I think if they are popular housemates i.e finalists they shouldnt be booed but if they have done something wrong they should be booed. If they are boring then maybe half/half but not straight booooing

I think that they should do things like the raffle inside so as not to communicate with the outside world.
