Lmao I read those a few years ago as well. A friend of mine recommended them to me and I was like, 'As if I'll like them!' but then just out of interest I started reading them... and found them surprisingly addictive!

Lol, I got up to 'Allies of the Night' which is book #8 I think, you're right, they were very addictive.

I only read up to book 6 or 7! My problem was with the first Cirque du Freak one, because of the big spider and the whole spider thing (cos I hate them), but after that it was continuous!
