Not really sure... I guess they didn't want to push him when he was already a bit of a closed book?

Is it relevant. He's a devout Christian and their beliefs are pretty well documented.

He was really difficult to interview bringing that up would have made it even more awkward and he would have clammed up even more.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014′s Evander Holyfield has apologised for remarks he made in the house.
Evander, who was evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2014 last night, was warned by BB earlier in the series for comments he made about gay people. Host Emma Willis refused to quiz Evander on the comments during his exit interview, leaving it up to us when we caught up with him earlier today. “I haven’t got the opportunity to make an apology yet, but I guess with me in that situation, I kind of felt I was talking to one person,” Evander said in his post-eviction press conference. “I was telling one person my view. I do owe an apology for what I said because I really wasn’t talking and really wasn’t trying to talk about somebody, because I don’t talk about nobody. m “She [Luisa] asked me something and I thought I was sharing with her my view personally, and I forgot about everything. “So I am going to make a public apology about that because I am sorry for anybody I offended in that situation.” Meanwhile, Evander admitted he was “unhappy” and surprised to be the first one out. “Everybody knew coming in here who is the most popular person. And when you talk about ‘popular person’, you’re talking about what a person has already done,” he explained. “I had been the champion five times. I already did it already. “My reputation’s already there as to what type of person I was so it’s easy to think that there’s a good chance I’d be in the final. “That’s what I was hoping on anyway. I realised whatever I did, if the public vote, I was going to be in there.” Read more: http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...#ixzz2q7P2dfRE Follow us: @tellymix on Twitter | tellymix on Facebook |

it was just his opinion, it didn't really affect the game of the show in any way so wasn't really worth bringing up, I guess the horse punching became the replacement question

The show is simply run like a business and they protect its rep at all costs, completely ignoring all the warts. The show is definitely sexist and has no shame about that in 2014, despite the fact that without its female viewers the show would have crashed and burned years ago. |

I think Evander's part of the school of thought where you can love the person but not what they "choose" to do with their lives. He's not a particularly offensive person, his views are just different to the views we expect in Britain in 2014. Bible Belt America is still alive and well.
