I've liked a Facebook page of a bar in Glasgow called Hummingbird and they're owned by a company called G1 Group, who also own various clubs in Glasgow. There was just a post on the Hummingbird page that BB producers will be in a club in Glasgow on Thursday looking for potential housemates..
Guess they'll be doing this in various cities across the UK. |

How exactly do they determine a good HM from people in clubs? Considering most will be drunk anyway?
Whos pulling? Whos most attractive? Whos dancing is hilarious? Whos splashing the cash? Are any of them really necessary traits in a HM? Stick with auditions you idiots.

They are obviously looking for a certain type of housemate if they're doing this.
We need a mixture. Look how well this celeb series has gone. We've had early twenty something's mixing with 60pluses and even an Octogenarian!

this and recruiting housemates through agencies etc. Bet you only get 3-4 genuine auditionees in most of the series of recent years.
Probably part of the reason they don't even show audition footage on launch night anymore Last edited by King Gizzard; 21-01-2014 at 04:55 PM. |

Its a good idea, it shows them what the housemates could potentially be like when they plough them with booze lol. Theres allways someone outrageous in a club and obviously they will still have to attend call backs, auditions ect when sober so I don't see the problem.
They were searching for housemates in 2010 by walking through Soho and approaching people. |

They showed a lot of audition footage on BB13 launch night. They had a whole programme dedicated to it.
