My niece and I went to see Sally Morgan a couple of years ago ,we had front row seats ,she had a big glass globe on stage where you could put a card in with the name of someone you wanted to talk to ,We watched her ,what the sly cow did was she took 2 cards out instead of 1 ,and slyly read the underneath card ,then stood there saying "Theres someone here called Pat " shes a con woman who preys on bereaved people

Honestly Jesus I just referenced you because you've been making a lot of posts recently where you've been poking fun at how everyone posts the same things - .GIFs instead of actual posts being one of the things you've made fun of. I actually thought you'd read my reply and find it funny because I was making fun of the same thing you'd been making fun of recently, it wasn't intended as a personal dig at all... and I definitely don't think I deserved the response you gave me, I don't think being patronising helps anything. my mum watches that TV show with Colin Fry (think that's his name?) and she knows I disapprove LOL. But I don't know. She's lost a son, ex-husband and more so I guess it's just an easy form of comfort being told that people are "doing well" in the afterlife or whatever, and I don't really hold anything against those who want to believe it, but obviously I find Fry/Morgan/Akorah and others who actually make money off of the whole thing sickening. Then I suppose there's no money in going around the country telling everyone "nana's alright she said stop smoking" or whatever.

..in reply to the OP, I don't really know that much about Sally Morgan specifically but no, I've never been to a medium...I have no idea what happens after we die but what I do believe that we never really 'lose' people who have significantly impacted on our lives and emotions...I think it's because of our 'associations' to them and there are times in our lives when we might feel a little lost because of something and those are the times when we can really miss that person and feel their loss from our lives most..?..it's not that we actually 'hear voices/their voice' or anything, but in a kind of way we do in that it's more that we kind of know what they would have said/advised etc in certain situations when we might have talked to them/confided in them etc because everything they were and meant to us stays with us, that's something we don't lose...


...anyway, going slightly off topic...I don't believe in mediums, clairvoyants etc..but all that I do know, is that when I was very young, I went to a clairvoyant, really actually because I knew people who were going, kind of 'for a laugh'/not taking it seriously and someone dropped out, so I said that I would go...and all I can say is that after that experience, I was so freaked out and really quite stunned by things that were said, that I have never, ever been tempted to go again...things are just too huge for everything in life to be explainable...
