Yeah. She "loves him" after spending just a week with him. It actually quite lonely here when she is not here. I stayed at my sisters most of last week.

I made soup with my niece today, it took her like 30 minutes to peel a potato. The poor think was butchered but she was so proud of herself, I told her it was very good. The soup turned out delicious anyway even though the vegetables were ugly looking before they were blended.

I made dinner for my friend the other night but it started off on the wrong foot; I was chopping vegetables and was heating up oil which then caught fire out of nowhere (hadn't put anything in the pot other than oil so there must have been something at the bottom of the pot!? Obviously I wash up after I use my kitchen stuff every time so I'm not sure how that could be but I can't think of any other explanation) and I threw it into the sink, turned the water on, fire whooshed up and there was smoke everywhere but it extinguished and I had to sit down for 5 minutes before I started again LOL

I was so stunned, I've never had a kitchen mishap like that before! It was fine though, I made beef pilaf which was just amazing, would definitely make it again.

..I don't know why my recipes don't look like they're meant to in the pics and don't taste like they ought to, I think it's probably because I put things in that aren't in the recipe/creativity isn't always a good thing...that looks nice though Zee...without the beef...
