The title's completely misleading, they're apparently the front running bidder but no sale has been made and won't be made for days, and then it has to be approved. They are the most likely candidates, but they own nothing yet.

If Discovery the US network is still interested to the tune of £350million then that paragraph (which was written a fortnight ago) clearly isn't true.

Not to mention Big Brother is only contracted until the end of 2014, unless Channel 5 has renewed it for another year and hasn't announced it yet
