After the most stressful day in Big Brother memory, the divided housemates have come together to enjoy tonight's England V Switzerland match.

Tempers may still be simmering after last night's infamous fiasco, but the group assembled in a calm manner for the first time today, after Big Brother announced that they would be able to view the game on the plasma screen - albeit with no sound.

The initial excitement the news caused immediately quashed all ongoing discussions about last night and its potential consequences. Soon, the tensome were digging into the pies provided by Big Brother and speculating on the outcome of the match they were about to witness.

Smiles all round as England knock one in


"I wish we were watching it live," sulked Stuart. But he soon cheered up when England scored the first goal of their 3-0 win over Switzerland.

Shell proved to be one of the more articulate would-be commentators among the group. "Perfect...wiggles it and then shoots," she complimented a certain Mr Beckham.

However, the match didn't hold the same excitement for everyone. Nadia stared at the screen looking bored, while Jason headed to the bathroom for a spot of preening before taking advantage of an empty garden in which he could get down to some therapeutic exercise.

No pleasing some people!
