I'm old enough to remember him from The Young Ones and The Comic Strip Presents..

Ade Edmondson made me laugh with this:

I don't like it really, I know it's life but 24 hours ago he was alive walking his dog and now he's dead.. Honestly we take life for granted so much... Who knows when it ends? It's scary

How could you possibly know he died in his sleep? The Ambulance service were called to his house in the afternoon.
