It was an insult, considering Jale's one of the housemates Ash doesn't really get along with. And I hate him more for it.

mathew was a bit low calling marlon fat. mathew is too thin he doesn't even get wet when in the shower he is so thin. one extreme to the other

Harmless comment IMO, came across as a joke. IF they had all bombed the pool and he only commented on Jale then I would take it more seriously, but the others didn't

Also Matthew didn't exactly call Marlon fat..he said he looks fat on TV, and he sounded quite surprised by that..so I took that to mean he's not fat but TV makes him look bigger

She seemed to be to me. Danielle and Kimberly just sort of climbed in after her.

I don't think it was specifically a weight jibe, just a joke at the water that splashed out. I'm not an Ash fan, but I don't think it was an actively malicious comment, he'd probably say that if a friend jumped into the pool and caused a splash, too.

Laugh off being called fat? I don't think she'd cry or make a fuss, but she'd be hurt - afterall her and Ash clearly don't get on as she nominated him, so I doubt it was a 'joke'
