DANIEL'S mum has had hopes that her son will get together with Jason crushed by the Scot's canoodling with Vanessa.

Jenny Bryan, 56, felt her gay son had found his "soulmate" in the bodybuilder and admitted she hoped they would see each other after the show.

Jason has told Dan he is bisexual and Jenny had given her seal of approval to their blossoming friendship.

She admitted: "I would really enjoying meeting Jason outside the house.

"It's entirely up to Daniel if he wants to get to know Jason better but he's coming out himself and I'm enjoying watching."

But Jason's romance with Vanessa may have made any relationship impossible.

Jenny, who runs a cattery in Cottingham, near Hull, said of the men: "They seem to have found their soulmates in each other. I think we better just keep watching that relationship." Initially she thought Jason an exhibitionist but she said: "He's actually a nice, funny guy."

Jenny, who showed the Mirror her family album, said she was "extremely proud" of Dan.
