Normally I would post a link to my blog, but I think with the amount of debate this eviction result has caused I will post this directly: Quote:

Well done....your comments on Ashleigh are so right. We all wanted someone to make a stand against Helen and that's just what Ashleigh did unset now she is seen as a villain. Ok she is quite sly and bitchy but I see that as rather clever against a goby nasty vile person like Helen.
I think the fact that Helen is now on her final warning she failed to react to Ashleigh in the way she would have in the first two weeks. It's because they have not had a showdown...Ashleigh has been seen to be sly and calculating. Had Helen dared to react the public would no doubt see Ashleigh as a heroine...for either putting her in her place or getting her kicked out. Helen claims she won't attack Ashleigh cos she is only 18. The truth is she is having to contain herself in order to remain a housemate and some of the public are not seeing through it.....and what's ironic (and I hope it's shown tonight) is that Helen is mocking the public and blatantly says that because she made an arse of herself in the task and because she is restraining herself...the public don't hate her anymore...and she is right. |

Interesting read.
Quote:
She spent the whole week bitching with Dani in the pod, it wasn't the BB producer that did that to her, she did it. Plus she came across as cowardly for only saying things behind the backs of other housemates. Helen is still disliked, but also Ashleigh's behavior is disliked. And rightly so, I don't see the mystery in the chants to get Ashleigh out. |

Great blog!
Myself and many posters here have been saying how the edits have been slanted to suit the outcome the producers want. It is done all the time because it works. Many people just focus on the last 4 or 5 days instead of considering the series as a whole. It's as some viewers believe that a HM can become an entirely different person every week and don't see them as a sum of all their parts. It goes from "Helen is nasty and vile, we want the bitch out!" To "Helen hasn't went off on one this week, I'm warming to her; that Ashleigh is a horrible person". They seem to forget that part of Helen is still a nasty bully inside even if she hasn't displayed it so blatantly recently because she was warned. It's as if the part of her who cruelly mocks others has gone forever in the course of a week. Hard to fathom, indeed. Last edited by jet; 05-07-2014 at 04:07 PM. |
