Great blog!
Myself and many posters here have been saying how the edits have been slanted to suit the outcome the producers want. It is done all the time because it works. Many people just focus on the last 4 or 5 days instead of considering the series as a whole. It's as some viewers believe that a HM can become an entirely different person every week and don't see them as a sum of all their parts.
It goes from "Helen is nasty and vile, we want the bitch out!"
To "Helen hasn't went off on one this week, I'm warming to her; that Ashleigh is a horrible person".
They seem to forget that part of Helen is still a nasty bully inside even if she hasn't displayed it so blatantly recently because she was warned. It's as if the part of her who cruelly mocks others has gone forever in the course of a week.

Hard to fathom, indeed.
