The producers of Big Brother have no need to release information/publicise especially not for this season, and especially not this much in advance of the start date.
The last impression they made was that of the 'racism row;' therefore the producers will want to keep this series quite quiet, as any big, bold, announcement of a new series will result in some sections of the media giving them bad press, calling for the end of big brother.
Moreover, last year the adverts were very minimal. The billboards included no start date, nor channel, nor title, but only the programs logo. The producers must feel that, especially because of the heightened publicity of this years celebrity big brother, advertisements for this coming series ought not to be anything other than sleight, and hinting.
Therefore I wouldnt be surprised if we don't see any adverts til the 25th (bearing in mind a 30th may/1st june start date.)
I would also not be surprised if there was no press release this year.

Source or a link ?
Because I really doubt it's true, every year there is a press release and thi sone will be before the 25th, ok this year channel 4 is very quiet but it doesn't mean there isn't press release !

Uh???????? I am my own source, fooool!!!! I was stating my own opinion; the purpose of a press release, i would imagine, is to alert the general public about something, while, for the press, it sells newspapers...firstly, the press coverage in january generated enough publicity that there is no need for a press release, secondly, the producers know they are not going to win round any more fans, and that those who are already fans, do not need a press release to inform them of something they already know is going to happen. Thirdly, the producers probably want to avoid the press for a bit, after the backlash in january.
The tabloids may be desperate for some concrete big brother news to report on, but i doubt the producers of big brother care.
