Default Will The Real Dan Please Stand Up

"I've decided that, seeing as I'm going on Friday, that I'm not being polite anymore," Dan said bullishly.

"I've completely relaxed into my role," he said of his new "tough guy" persona. Dan complained that he was fed up with holding back on his true feelings.

"Being a peace maker can be a burden," Dan explained, keen to shed his Mother Teresa persona. "Other people aren't biting their tongues, so I ain't gonna."

However, the hairdresser started backtracking, worried that "If I don't go on Friday, I may have some angry faces to face on Saturday,"

Mild mannered Dan has been a calming influence on the more tempestuous housemates, and Big Brother was keen to know how Tough Dan was going to behave in the House.

He had a few harsh words for Jason who he described as "a miserable sod".

"I told him off," Dan said manfully. "He's ungrateful, and if he's unhappy he throws all his toys out of the cot," he elaborated, shuddering at the mental image of a large baby Jason.

The boy's feeling boxed in

Big Brother wondered what it was that made Dan so sure he would be leaving the House on Friday. "I've got a feeling," Dan said, coming on like a Jedi with mystical powers.

"I had a feeling I was coming into the House, now I have a feeling I'm going out." The force is strong with him, after all.

Dan is skilful at hiding his true feelings behind a few jokes, saying it was probably the "thousands of women out there that need their hair cut", which would secure his eviction on Friday.

But in an earlier Diary Room entry he revealed a fear that his true personality hasn't come across in the House.

During the Cabaret task, when housemates were asked to do impressions of each other, he felt that Michelle was doing an impression of "Gandalf the Gay" as Victor calls him, and not of the real Dan.

"Do they really know me?" Dan wondered.

There might be just two days left for the housemates to get to know the real Dan, and to find out whether they love him or loathe him. It's time for Dan fans to stand up and be counted...

Dan's intution's wrong this time tho' - it's sure to be Vanessa that's evicted, without a doubt. Even though I loved him already, I'm glad Dan is being himself more now, should mean the ones who thought he was fake will see that he's not. And his honesty will win him even more fans if he continues to tell it like it is
