Exactly! That's exaclty how I feel about everything. She really drags me down a lot time and again and I've had enough of it. I'm always the one conceding so that things'll be glossed over. :/ But hopefully it will be a positive outcome no matter when that may be. Sigh.

Me and my Dad are great though yeah! My Dad's awesome. He's really chilled out and I have a lot in common with him. He gets me. I came out to him recently too and it went so well omg he was the sweetest.

..I've always had a great relationship with both of the boys, one is so much like me and the other is the complete opposite but even though we've always been close, it would be the worst thing in the world if they didn't break away, because they're adults now, like you are Niall and it's important for them to do things their way because they're not younger versions of me or how I've lived my life etc and they will want to do things differently, and distancing is the only way to truly do that, no matter even if you did have a great relationship...for now, if being with your dad makes you feel that you're learning about yourself and what you need and want and which direction you want to go then it's a good place for you..(and I'm glad he's been a star..)..and then eventually you'll move on from that as well and start taking your paths/choosing them...

That's absolutely brilliant that you guys'll still have a solid relationship were that to happen. You truly are an excellent parent to be that way Ammi. And spending time away from Mum and just being at home and stuff is making me feel better. So I guess it's the right path! (For now at least..)

..hopefully the time away will also help your mum realise, appreciate and respect who you are as well and for yourself as a person and not what she may want you to be...because you're you and if she gets to know you properly and eventually then I'm sure she'll see what a fine young person you are...

I said this to my sister earlier. I've been wanting to go on Dumbo everytime we go and I've always felt like I wasn't allowed because I had no children.

..haha, the first time we went with thw boys I think my youngest was around 9yrs old and I volunteered to take him on some of the younger rides and experiences while his brother and dad went on the more 'awesome' ones and I got to experience Shrek...my favourite of all of them....
