Right, I dont want to confuse you all now that we have settled on a final date but two sources have led me to believe that BB3 could be starting a week earlier than we thought.

1.) My local newspaper said that Big Brother would be starting next week. (i know that its not exactly a reliable source...!)

2.) An article from Sky News.

What do we think? Its probably wrong but is it officially May 24th? We wont know until the day arrives!

Thats an interesting article, especially about some of the people who applied. I can definitely relate to the girl who said she wanted to go into the house to lose weight 'cos there would be less food available.

I wonder if they have got the start date wrong?? If it was right, surely the 1st programme would be going out on Friday night of this week and therefore would be in the TV listings already?

I'm really confused now.

I've just spoken to my contact again.

I asked him if he had got it wrong when I spoke to him last week and just presumed that the show on the 24th was an eviction show, when in fact it was a show with a live audience to watch the housemates going into the house.

'No,' he said 'it's definitely an eviction.'

'It can't be,' I said, 'Channel 4 have said that its the 24th that BB3 starts and that that is when we can see the housemates going into the house with a live audience. So there is a show on the 24th but it's not an eviction.'

He then said: 'We've been told it starts a week earlier on the 17th and that there definitely is an eviction on the 24th.'

'Are you sure?'

'That's what we have been told.'


Aaaaargh!!!!!!!

I think I'm starting to lose the will to live.

Im soooooo confused now!!!

the radio times website says its starting next week!?

If it starts this week it'll be quite good though coz Im staying at a mates house and she satyed with me for a couplr off weeks last year while BB was on and she was almost as hooked as me!

I've just been chatting to Kaz on MSN and she said that she had seen on the C4 Reach Forum that one of the members there claimed to have exclusive information from a C4 executive that it was actually going to start on Friday 17th.

Looks like my contact might be right.
