If I was speaking to someone who wasn't Scottish, I would say "Jay" otherwise I'd say "Jie" as it's how everyone I know pronounces it.

But once had a Scottish boyfriend called James and he always got Jaiser, ad in J eye ser. Something to do with his name beginning with J. |
