I am certainly not posting to defend Helen but in different ways they are all ramping up their game now.I have thought from the start that Helen understood the price she would pay for receiving the pass.Regardless of how she came across it was very unlikely she would win as the public would view the free ride as a negative.

The recent projected softer side is I suspect a damage limitation exercise. I think she understands a love hate reception awaits and despite the hard case fronting she is really like all of us in respect that she would prefer more of the former than the latter.
