Default Secret rooms and popularity - Emma / Michelle / Gina / Dexter / Helen

During the final week with a vote to win, Helen is put in a secret room to watch a live feed having already been made to look like a hard done by victim in the mock court case.

Had there been a vote to win when Emma/Michelle/Dexter/Gina were in there, they'd have all finished the top 2 that week as well.

That is why Helen won. The whole week was contrived to be "The redemption of Helen". Something they had been working towards for ages.

A secret room task in the final week and neither the viewers nor the housemates got to choose the first person selected for it.

Oh dear...

Yep. The production team did. Just like they choose to do a mock trial in which Helen would be found "guilty". Poor Helen. And didn't she play the role well in the diary room "Why is it always me"

Quite right. All were favorites to win (well won in Helen's case) as well at some point (although was Michelle ever favorite to win?)

Nope. The production team just put Helen there. The other 4 were all public votes though. Michelle and Emma ended up in there over Ahmed. Gina and Dexter ended up in there over Dan and Wolfie

Oh, she was popular. Not enough, clearly. But she had this weeks "victim" to beat.

By the way, I don't call this stuff a "fix", but it was ultimately the last moment of manipulation in a series packed full of it. And none of those who mock people who are calling it a "fix" have ever really addressed this point about Helen, first being found guilty of causing the divide and then just out of nowhere being put in a secret room. All of this was bound to boost her voting figures.

Of course it was manipulated, the last week was particularly obvious, some people fell for it and voted for her and as someone else pointed out her fans were able to save their votes for the final wheras others were up for eviction regularly, end of the day whoever wins makes no difference to the fans and by this time next week we will have someone else to champion or dislike
