Betting syndicate stories come out every year, it's nothing new. Although I do think that if there was a year where there was evidence for one this was it, so many evictions this year have gone against the book makers that I can imagine there being some kind of influence in that regard. Note the momentum for or against someone on social media, back them at a high price and invest a bit of your own money to get a return. It happened with Tamara, Matthew, Winston and obviously Helen.

That's just my theory.

Part of the reason I would think, there was a lot of money to be made. Kicking myself that I didnt bet on her at 50/1 myself tbh, as I had an inkling she might possibly do it...

But its not the only reason...she had her fans. Plus she has carried the show tbh. And the 'anti-ashleigh' vote...people dont like the winner being so clear cut and with Winston out it looked sure it would be Ashleigh
