Then when Kellie said she wants to be called so did he continue to call her Frank? No, so not the same thing.

The point is Audley made a joke which some may have considered clearly below the belt, Kellie took it in good spirit, Audley over-reacted to a much less offensive joke. If you can give it out you should be able to take it on the chin. It is not as if Audley is any way effeminate, womanish or weak or could be done any damage by George's childish jokes. He made himself look like a bit of a fool by reacting in the way that he did. IMO

But was Audley making a joke given he has known Frank for many years as Frank, I just got the impression he was just asking what she wanted to be called in the house given their history. Maybe I got it wrong. Also they have known each other for a long time whereas George has only just met Audley so to go calling someone you don't know childish names is not such a good idea imo.

He took it as a joke. George insisted on carrying the joke on and was asked to stop.

A joke is a joke but there is a line. He had an awkward first meeting with Kellie after knowing her as Frank and then accepted her and got on with it.

Not comparable in the slightest.

I also don't see what being "effeminate" has to do with it. Nobody's saying the joke would have done damage but it was irritating.
