Having a relative with hearing loss I know how annoying it can be at times to keep repeating everything you say BUT imagine how difficult it is for the person with the hearing loss.
It's no wonder he gets cross at times when there are so many people talking over each other.
James should just make sure that when he talks to Gary that he is facing him & talking clearly.
A little more patience is needed but I'm not sure James has any.

Tarryn.. I too have relatives with hearing limitations. They do however have hearing aids and that does make things better. James DID talk slower and looked straight at him, Busey cannot look people in the eye when they talk to him, he's far too self important for that. When James did slow his speech slightly and talked clearer, he was accused on here of being a patronising ****. He cannot do right for doing wrong in some people's eyes, but honestly can't think it will bother him in the slightest.

You do realise that shoving kilos of coke up your nose causes these issues too.. don't make out like he is some kind of victim. The man's "issues" are self inflicted, yes, the accident too. Helmets are there for a reason..

he is a wife battering animal abusing rancid old creep. That's not hero material in my book.

I don't know the facts of the allegations you make, but in my book that makes him no less deserving than the likes of people who simply take their clothes off to gain fame or talentless wannabees known simply for their role in trashy relaity shows such as Towie and Geordie Shore.

Based on his successful acting career, and he was a good actor, Gary has more right than most to be on a show calling itself 'Celebrity' Big Brother.

If Gary is such a 'creep' maybe BB should never have invited him on the show. They did, so he has every right to be there.

Yes it was right that BB told James to have some consideration regarding someone who is hard of hearing instead of belittling them.

What a sick thing to say he is brain damaged because he had a serious motor bike accident which caused him to die twice in the future before making things up look before you say anything

I understand that but sometimes James can come across as very aggressive.

You really don't like Gary do you and that is your right. But this looking at him business is riduculous. For a start you don't know why he isn't looking at him, maybe it is something to do with his brain injury, maybe he wasn't going to be spoken to by the jumped-up James like that - if he had told me to ook at him whilst he was talking to me, I wouldn't have looked at him either - who the hell does he think he is.

He is trying to make a name for himself by taking the great Gary Busey on - a lot easier to do when ihe is 70 with brain damage. No doubt he wouldn't have dared taken on a much younger and fitter Gary.

I have gone right off James, I think he is an attention-seeking coward who will take on what he considers 'weaker' targets in order to big-himself up.

A clever ploy by BB to make the housemate feel guilty for nominating him

It is not a sick thing to say. I am more than aware of Busey's accident, subsequent brain damage (which IS self inflicted - had he worn a helmet he would not have split his head open).. Im also aware of his cancer in his sinus cavity.. I am also aware of the cocaine addiction, the spousal battery and the animal abuse. Im sick to the back teeth of hearing "poor Gary is disabled" NO.

He has hearing problems. CLEARLY it is better to look at someone when they are talking - without the fact that it is actually polite to do so - deaf or not!
He is trying to make a name for himself by taking the great Gary Busey on - a lot easier to do when ihe is 70 with brain damage. No doubt he wouldn't have dared taken on a much younger and fitter Gary. REALLY????

You know, Im sick of hearing this. I honestly didn't realise there were so many apologists out there for rude arrogant abusive old farts. I really do worry for society.

His biggest handicap/restriction now is his age. That however is not self-inflicted and comes to us all.

A bit of Karma is what some of these fools need and a good dose of what gioes around comes around when their time comes.

One would hope that commone decency would come before Karma does. From some things I read on here, it seems there won't be much chance of that.

I worry for society more when it's becoming clear both inside and outside the house how intolerant some people can be.

I love how people make assumptions. I am sure if you asked Busey himself, he would be OUTRAGED that you assume he is handicapped by his age...

The problem with the majority of society from what I see is it's all COMMON with no decency, and definitely no bloody mirrors.

You keep referring to his age - 'old creep/old fart' which stronglysuggests ageism, which has me worried for society if this is a common opinion of young people today.

James's lack of consideration for Gary's age has been more disturbing to me than anything Gary has said or done on the show.
