Jason felt the need to clear the air with Daniel after their earlier confrontation, and approached the Hull hairdresser for a tub-side chat.

The pair took a while to get to the point as Jason recapped the altercation concerning housemates smoking.

They finally got to the heart of the matter with Jason anxious to find out the source of Daniel's earlier coldness towards him.

Daniel admitted that living with Jason was taking its toll and told him, "I've tried talking to you... you're just still walking around like a bear with a sore arse."

Jason countered that sometimes Daniel has his grumpy moments but confirmed, "I'm up and down."

But the Scot was insistent that he didn't want his mood swings to affect their friendship, "I don't want us to fall out... we get on quite well."

The muscleman then tentatively suggested there had been "an atmosphere" earlier today.

Daniel decided it was time was to come clean, telling Jason, "a lot of the time you act like a child."

Laying it on the line


He went on to explain that he found Jason's mood swings and his tendency to spend time on his own sulking difficult to deal with.

Jason finally conceded at times he behaved like a spoilt teenager but added, "I love spending time on my own."

He then pressed Daniel about occasions when he's behaved like a child but Daniel wouldn't be drawn. Jason also confessed that every day he feels like leaving the House.

"What's keeping you here?" quizzed Daniel.

"There's certain things I have to rethink," replied Jason cryptically.
