I disagree that it's only a positive thing in the long run tbh.. What about when people start getting hurt or experience bad reactions just like the neknoms? What about all the water that's being wasted for these challenges? It's a fad that will die when something else comes along and takes it's place. The water lost is the equivalent to a shower... that doesn't make a noticeable subtraction to the tens of millions raised. We'd all love to donate to every charity all the time but it's simply not realistic. This gives a specific incentive especially for those who are oblivious to the charity in the first place. Ultimately it's only a good thing. |
