I didnt like Helen for the majority of the series, I wanted her to win in the final as it was not the obvious choice and as has been said above, everyone seemed to think Ashleigh would win, I dont really understand why, all she did was moan a lot. The usual winner would have been someone like Christopher and I think he would also have been a worthy winner but Helen provided most of the drama, good and bad that made for a good series.

Whilst Ashleigh was the underdog initially the balance shifted when Helen's posse left one by one!

The house was made aware of Ashleigh's insane popularity around the same time.

All the housemates just thought that Ashleigh winning was a given!

The public didn't like that!

The Helen protest vote came as yet another 'lets stick it to the producers'

Helen was made the underdog, her redemption was her winning storyline and the public voted her the winner because they felt Ashleigh was too obvious

Nah twas all about money!! As I have said three big organisations got together to get Winston out etc. etc. They wanted a H and A final, I bet they were quids in!! Personalities do not matter near the end.

The ones in the know, know what they are doing. They put bets on someone who is an outsider then they gradually build them up until, as I said, they begin to vote tactically. This is why Winston went, he was a winner in many peoples eyes. One has to take the risk of putting the cash in but once in they wont let it go until they win. What is that old saying "you have to speculate to accumulate". Get many together who know what they are doing and there we are, all about the cash.
