What I am trying to do is help you. Some people don't realise how their words can be perceived. If people tried to help gary in that way then there might not be such a problem.

sounds like you're trying to help me in the same way that James tries to help Gary - talking down to people, lecturing without really listening to what the other person is saying. I also support Gary, he's my favourite, but don't see the need to whip out vague websites on random symptoms of brain damage to justify my support.
